lightened flywheel. How much? and how much do they weigh? Who makes good ones that are inexpensive?

inexpensive flywheels? there is no such thing. If you get one that is about 9lbs. its gonna run ya around $450-500. Its a lot of money to drop, so i'd be sure that there is nothing else you could do to your car first that would give you the same power output.

i feel much safer w/ chromoly than w/ aluminum. i have an exedy w/ my b16 and i really like it. another route you can go is to have you stock flywheel lightened. i've heard this can be just as effective and MUCH cheaper. the stock flywheels (at least for my b16) are only 8-9 pounds heavier. i paid 400 for mine. jun, spoon, exedy..basically the same thing..what motor are you looking for a flywheel for?
